Privacy

Your information will be kept confidential. We do not share, sell, barter, trade or in any other way give our customer information to any other party other than where necessary to complete a transaction you have requested, such as processing payment for an order. Only a minimum amount of information needed to process a payment or order will be used for such purposes. For instance, during electronic credit card charge authorization for online e-commerce, the credit card billing address must be supplied electronically (but in an encrypted form) to the card-issuing bank, and the bank compares this address to that on file for the card as a part of determining whether to authorize the charge. However, only the information required by credit card companies to make a charge to the card is used, and always in encrypted form over secure channels. Your email address will not be added to any mailing lists unless you request us to do so (for instance: by checking the box to subscribe to our store's email newsletter in your account settings). We do not have or use any direct-mail lists and your mailing or street addresses will not be added to any such lists or given to any other party for such purposes.

Security

Checkout is completely secure with 128-bit (256-bit if supported by your browser) encryption and you never leave the J-Place site throughout the entire process. The information entered during account creation and checkout will be transmitted securely in encrypted form and sensitive data such as credit card numbers will also be encrypted again and remain so the entire time it is stored during processing of your order. We are fully compliant with and exceed the standards of the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard as well as the Visa USA Cardholder Information Security Program (CISP).

Discreet Billing

Billing is done with discretion: Charges for purchases made in our store appear on credit card statements discreetly.
